I am a Ph.D. Candidate in the John E. Walker Department of Economics at Clemson University.
My research interests are in Public Economics, Labor Economics, and overall applied microeconomics. I am interested in occupational licensing, in which I worked as a policy analyst for 3 years. But I'm mostly interested in studying individual responses to public policy. My JMP looks at the heterogeneous responses of mothers to Universal Pre-Kindergarten. But I also have a paper that looks at the impact of the removal of a felony ban on occupational licenses on ex-felons and a paper that looks at the implementation of a school bicycle program in India on education outcomes.
I am currently on the 2026-2027 job market and am especially interested in academic positions.
You can read my job market paper, "Who responds to Universal Pre-K? Heterogeneous Employment Effects On Mothers," here.
